From the moment he was released from the Baltimore Ravens, running back Willis McGahee was linked to the Denver Broncos. Now just a few hours from players being able to sign free agent contracts, McGahee has agreed to terms with Denver.
Per Mike Florio of ProFootballTalk.com, McGahee agreed to a three-year deal worth $7.5 million and $3 million guaranteed. McGahee will join Knowshon Moreno in the Broncos backfield and build what Denver hopes will be an effective 1-2 punch.
Now the Broncos just need to decide who will be handing the ball off to McGahee in 2011 — Kyle Orton or Tim Tebow?
