Despite QB Competition, Tim Tebow is Having ‘Fun’

Tim Tebow has found himself in the middle of a much talked about quarterback competition with Kyle Orton and Brady Quinn during Denver Broncos training camp. Even though the competition would be stressful to some, “Timmy Terrific” appears to be brushing any negativity right off and continuing on his seemingly perfect ways.

When talking to reporters today, Tebow said that he is having fun during camp. In fact, Tebow seems to be having A LOT of fun — at least that is the way it sounds.

“Am I having fun?  I am having fun,” Tebow said. “I enjoy playing this game. I want to have fun because I’m playing the game I love.  But also to compete, try to be able to put some drives in the end zone, because that’s ultimately your goal, and then just execute the offense, right audibles, right ‘hots,’ right sights, right checks and just lead the guys out there and have fun doing it.”

Tebow can continue to have his fun during the preseason, but if he wants to become the team’s starter he will need to buckle down and become more serious. He will have to prove during the exhibition games that he is capable of being more than a fun guy or else he will have to keep his fun self on the bench. Luckily for Tebow, he starts the preseason off against the dreadful Dallas Cowboys defense. He truly is blessed.
