St. Louis Rams running back Steven Jackson tested his strained quad during pregame warmups today at MetLife Stadium to see if he would be able to take the field as the Rams face off against the New York Giants on Monday Night Football. Jackson reportedly looked tight and was unable to run at full speed.
Per NFL Network’s Albert Breer, Jackson has said he will not play in tonight’s game. “[I] just can’t open up,” he said. With Jackson out, the Rams will turn to veterans Cadillac Williams and Jerious Norwood to share the load.
