Houston Texans running back Arian Foster continues to be plagued by his lingering hamstring injury. Foster was absent from Wednesday’s practice as he is behind on rehab and the team has chosen to play it safe. It is still too early to tell if Foster will be available for next Sunday’s game, but Texans fans do not need to worry.
While Foster has been absent, newly named starter Ben Tate has been on a tear. Tate has stepped up in a big way and helped the Texans got through life without Foster. It is very disappointing for last year’s NFL leading rusher, but Foster will benefit from the extra rest in the long run.
