Minnesota Vikings RB Adrian Peterson Has High Ankle Sprain

by Minnesota Vikings

Minnesota Vikings fans and fantasy football players, I am sorry. It looks like running back Adrian Peterson will be out until at least mid-December with a left high ankle sprain which he suffered against the Oakland Raiders. A high ankle sprain generally keeps a player out for 2-4 weeks.

Minnesota learned the bad news after Peterson underwent a MRI today.  Toby Gerhart needs to prepare himself to handle the workload for the next month.
