49ers Advance To NFC Championship With 36-32 Win Over Saints

Top that, Tom Brady and Tim Tebow. The San Francisco 49ers topped the New Orleans Saints, 36-32, in an instant classic. The 49ers defense dominated three quarters before all hell broke loose and a wild back-and-forth battle ended the epic matchup.

Within the last minutes of the game, four touchdowns were scored.

It seemed to be over when Drew Brees hit Jimmy Graham on a spectacular pass down the seam to give the Saints the lead with less than two minutes left. However, Alex Smith had other plans. Smith hit Vernon Davis for a huge gain, before hitting his trusting tight end again for the game-winning score.

The 49ers showed their true guts in this game and their defense showed that they are a real force to be reckoned with. San Francisco will be advancing to the NFC Championship game where they will either travel to Lambeau Field to face the Green Bay Packers or host the New York Giants. Congrats to Jim Harbaugh and his squad. What a game.
