New England Patriots Take Commanding 35-7 Lead Into Halftime

The New England Patriots and quarterback Tom Brady have taken no prisoners in the first half against the Denver Broncos as they marched to a 35-7 halftime lead. Tom Brady was nearly perfect as he threw for 246 yards and 5 touchdowns, while the media darling Tim Tebow completed only 3 passes for 28 yards.

Denver has no answer and has not been competitive in the first thirty minutes. Tight end Rob Gronkowski has hauled in 8 passes for 97 yards and three scores in the first half, continuing the great day for players at the position, while Brady’s five first-half touchdown passes sets a NFL record.

This game seems to be all but over. There is no amount of Tebow Magic that can save Denver in this one. As “Dandy” Don Meredith would have said, “Turn out the lights, they party’s over…”
