Notre Dame wide receiver Michael Floyd will be pulling out of the Under Armour Senior Bowl, according to SI.com’s Tony Pauline. With Floyd’s absence, Baylor wideout Kendall Wright will be the games top receiver.
There is no word as to why Floyd has pulled out of the game, but it is possible he is using the extra time to fully recover from an abdominal injury that was suffered in the Champs Sports Bowl. Performing at anything less than 100% could have hurt Floyd’s stock.
As it stands now, Floyd will likely be a first-round pick in April’s draft.
