In the early game, a missed 32-yard field goal by Billy Cundiff cost the Baltimore Ravens a shot at advancing to Super Bowl XLVI. Now just a few hours later, New York Giants kicker Lawrence Tynes booted a 31-yarder in overtime to lift the Giants over the San Francisco 49ers, 20-17.

The game-winning field goal was set up after a devastating fumble by punt returner 49ers Kyle Williams. It was the second time in the game that Williams literally dropped the ball. The New York Giants are now 5-0 in NFC Championship games in the franchises history.
