First Look At New Era NFL Sideline Cap

by NFL

New Era won the rights to provide the official sideline headgear of the NFL starting in the 2012 season. Designers at the New Era headquarters in Buffalo had been working hard for the look that we will see on NFL sidelines next season and we are finally getting a first look at the New Era caps, thanks to Buffalo Bills defensive lineman Marcell Dareus. Dareus revealed the new look on radio row in Indianapolis during Super Bowl XLVI festivities.

Here is a look at the Bills New Era caps for 2012:

It is a pretty classic look that I think will be a hit among the fans and players. The hats Dareus is holding are part of the New Era Draft Day collection. New Era will be rolling out a Training Collection, the On-Field Collection and a Retro Collection in the coming months. How will the other 31 teams look? We will have to wait and see. Until then, what are your thoughts on the Bills new headgear?

I am a big fan of the retro look. Hopefully Nike doesn’t go too modern with the uniforms.

Looks modern. Which is really good, compared to the Reebok hats.

@rod1972 yeah, definitely a bit modernized, but still has that slight retro feel to it. I’m really digging the caps and can’t wait to see their other NFL lines.
