NFL Scouting Combine 2012: It’s Make Or Break Time

As the NFL Scouting Combine creeps closer, the excitement grows. Seeing all those hopeful players striving for the best in many different aspects reminds the fans that only the strong survive. Between the throwing, tackling, running, lifting, the regimen that the players are put through is intense.

However, this is a time to see them in peak condition. Many of these players have not played in a few months and if they are not considered first-round potential they have been nearly forgotten. Or have they?

The diamond in the rough is what every team is looking for and for a good price. Players like Dominique Rogers-Cromartie and Matt Jones showed great talent and even Mario Williams slid into a first-pick in the draft. This year will be no exception. The outstanding players from bowl games show that the first-round is not set in stone and the combine will be full of surprises.
