Green Bay Packers Re-Sign Jermichael Finley To Two-Year/$15 Million Deal

The Green Bay Packers have locked up tight end Jermichael Finley before they were forced to slap him with the franchise tag or see their star hit free agency. It was a two-year deal worth $15 million. Finley tweeted his reaction to the deal and seemed ecstatic to return to Green Bay.

The $7.5 million per year that the deal averages is right on point with the other top tight ends in the game. However, it is only two-years and lacks a long-term commitment from either side. In the end, both sides should be happy. Finley got his money and the Packers got to keep their tight end.
