The New England Patriots have landed another free agent wide receiver in Donte Stallworth.
The one year deal signifies a return for Stallworth to one of his old stomping grounds. He was formerly with the Patriots in 2007 when he was signed to a six year $30 million deal but just a year later was cut by the franchise.
Stallworth will have a fight on his hands to remain on the roster following training camp but he showed some good touch at times as a third down receiver on the Redskins and could play a small yet valuable role in the New England offense.
