Seattle Seahawks New Logo Leaked?

We are getting closer to the official unveiling of the new Nike NFL uniforms, which will be released on April 3rd at an even in New York City. While there is no major change expected to the uniforms, two teams — the Carolina Panthers and Seattle Seahawks — are getting new logos.

We have already seen the Carolina Panthers new logo, but now the fine folks at seattlepi.com have done some investigative work and come up with a few images of the Seahawk’s new logo.

When Nike first released images of their new Vapor Jet gloves, we mentioned that the Seahawks logo seemed to be going back to the silver and blue scheme. Now, thanks to “State of the Franchise” on NFL Total Access, there is a screen grab floating around that shows a clearer look at the new logo.

Seattlepi.com has even put together a mock up of the isolated new logo.

All speculation will finally be put to rest on April 3rd, but until then, it is fun to look around the internet and see the latest concepts and rumors floating around about Nike’s new threads. One thing is for sure, the blogosphere and NFL fan base is dying to see what Nike will be putting out on the field for next season.

We have less than a week and then the wait will finally be over.
