NFL Draft 2012: Record Number Of Players Set To Attend Draft

The 2012 NFL Draft will kick off April 26th in New York City at Radio City Music Hall. Each year, a handful of players attend the event, but this season there will be a record number of players in attendance — twenty six. All twenty six players are expected to be drafted within the top fifty picks. Here are the players attending the draft:

  • Dre Kirkpatrick, CB, Alabama
  • Fletcher Cox, DT, Mississippi State
  • Justin Blackmon, WR, Oklahoma State
  • Kendall Wright, WR, Baylor
  • Mark Barron, S, Alabama
  • Matt Kalil, OT, USC
  • Melvin Ingram, DE, South Carolina
  • Michael Brockers, DT, LSU
  • Michael Floyd, WR, Notre Dame
  • Morris Claiborne, CB, LSU
  • Nick Perry, DE, USC
  • Quinton Coples, DE, North Carolina
  • Robert Griffin III, QB, Baylor
  • Rueben Randle, WR, LSU
  • Ryan Tannehill, QB, Texas A&M
  • Shea McClellin, LB, Boise State

  • Trent Richardson, RB, Alabama

The players who could be waiting the longest to hear their names called are Rueben Randle and Shea McClellin. Randle could be the lone player invited who does not hear their name called in the first-round.
