Indianapolis Colts Select Andrew Luck With Number One Pick

With this pick being announced days ago, any suspense as to who the #1 pick would be is long gone. Luck has been talked about as the #1 selection for over a year; there has never been any controversy. Some people in the last month or two have been trying to ignite a debate between whether or nor the Colts should take RG3, but this move has been in the making for a long time. While time will tell who of the two will be better, there is no denying that Luck stands to be a success for a long time coming.
As we have heard, Andrew Luck is arguably the most pro-ready quarterback in the draft. For a team in full-fledged rebuilding mode, Andrew Luck will give them a consistent presence at the QB position, while the coaches and front office determine who the remaining pieces of the puzzle will be. While a lot of people feel that Robert Griffin has more upside than Luck, Luck is not necessarily the question mark that Griffin is. He’s not only the safer pick, but the right one.
