Every year, there are a number of promising prospects that fall through the cracks during the draft process and become available as an undrafted free agent. Many of these players end up coming into camp and competing for a roster spot. As recently as last season, a guy like Victor Cruz burst onto the scene after being an undrafted free agent in 2010.
