Oakland Raiders To Make Major Donation To Public Schools

The Oakland Raiders often get a bad rap for having rowdy fans that can take things overboard at times during games. However, the organization and fans are teaming up for a promotion that will help public schools in the area by donating a significant amount of money over the next few weeks.

Oakland will be donating 10% of season tickets sales that are fully purchased and payed for between May 1st and June 30th.

Season tickets can start as low as $260 a piece and run as expensive as $1,510, so the donation to the public schools in the area can turn out to be a very substantial amount. It’s not often that you hear positive stories like this one coming from a NFL franchise, so I applaud the Raiders for their latest effort to stand up for education.
