There is a report being circulated that the Cincinnati Bengals, despite using third and fifth-round draft picks on Mohammed Sanu and Marvin Jones respectively, are showing some interest in bringing in a veteran wide receiver to play opposite last year’s first-rounder AJ Green. The veteran wideout that Cincinnati is showing interest in is Braylon Edwards.

ESPN’s Adam Schefter reported the Bengals interest in Edwards Monday on NFL Live. Edwards stated over the weekend that he was in Miami getting healthy and working out.

How serious is the Bengals interest in Edwards? That isn’t known, but if Edwards is healthy and his head is in the right place, then he is worth the veteran minimum and a final chance.
