Vernon Davis: I Will Be The Best Tight End To Ever Play

There is no doubt that San Francisco 49ers tight end Vernon Davis is one of the most talented tight ends in the NFL and along with that talent comes his confidence. While spending time with young football players in his hometown of Washington D.C., Davis told the kids to set the bar high for themselves. In fact, Davis has done so for himself.

Davis is setting out to become the best tight end in NFL history and he is confident that he can reach that goal.

I will be the best tight end to ever play this game. I have a vision,” said Davis.

“Anything is possible,” Davis said. “I say that because . . . what can happen? If I don’t make it, then I don’t make it. It’s as simple as that. Ain’t nothing nobody can do, ain’t nothing nobody can say. But if I do? Then I spoke it into existence.”

The 49ers should hope that Davis’ vision comes true. At the very least, Davis seems to have his sights set on going out and performing at the highest level this season, so San Francisco fans have that to be excited about.
