Dallas Cowboys wide receiver Dez Bryant is experiencing his best season to date, thanks to his first full offseason as a pro. Bryant says that he is a lot stronger heading into this season and credits his improvement to strength coach Mike Woicik.
Bryant spoke to the Dallas Morning News about his improved conditioning.
“It affected me big time,” Bryant said. “I feel much quicker. I’m coming out of my breaks faster. I got in shape real quick. I know all the other guys have been going through the same workouts, so I’m pretty sure they feel the same exact way. I feel like the team is just really ready to go. I’m not going to predict anything, but I know for a fact that we’re ready to go.”
Bryant suffered a deep thigh bruise in week one of last season and says that he was never in in top shape. He expects that all to change this year and that should be a scary thought for his opposition.
