A terrifying scene took place Tuesday afternoon at Oakland Raiders practice when running back Mike Goodson took a helmet-to-helmet hit from linebacker Philip Wheeler. Goodson initially was down on the field for minutes with teammates gathering around as he laid motionless. He was then removed from the field in an ambulance.
The good news for Goodson and the Raiders are that he was able to move his legs and had feeling in all extremities. There is no further information on Goodson’s condition at this time but thoughts will remain with the Raiders back as he gets his diagnosis. Let’s all hope for the best news for Goodson.
