Sam Bradford Looks Comfortable In First Game Under New System

There are a lot of questions surrounding the St. Louis Rams heading into the 2012 season.

The team has a new head coach, an abundance of new talent, and a new system to learn. But arguably the biggest question of the year is just how will quarterback Sam Bradford rebound after an injury-filled sophomore season.

The 2010 Rookie of the Year is learning his third new offense in as many years, and if Sunday’s performance was any indication, Bradford looks to be adapting nicely.

Bradford went 7-of-9 for 57 yards in his first action of the season in the Rams opening game of the 2012 preseason against the Indianapolis Colts.

The Rams came out looking sharp on offense on their opening drive with Bradford completing his first three passes to lead the Rams into Colts territory before their drive was stalled because of a delay of game penalty.

St. Louis’ second drive started strong again with Bradford leading his team into Colts territory for the second straight drive. However, a false start penalty once again forced the Rams drive to end prematurely.

It’s only the first game of the preseason, but Rams fans have to be impressed with what they saw from the former #1 overall draft pick.
