Mark Sanchez To Get '80-90% Of Snaps' In New York Jets Offense

The New York Jets offense was a disaster this preseason and there is no reason to believe the unit will get rolling any time in the immediate future. The one story line that will follow this offense all season long is ‘when will Tim Tebow win the starting job’ but that isn’t something we have to worry about for now.

During an appearance on ESPN Radio’s Mike & Mike in the Morning, Jets general manager Mark Tannenbaum said that Sanchez will get 80% to 90% of the reps in the Jets offense.

That means that we could see Tebow for one out of every five snaps in the Jets offense on average. That would harm any rhythm the Jets offense may be able to muster up.

No matter who is under center, it seems like we are in for another circus year when it comes to covering the New York Jets. They bring it on themselves with the love of the spotlight and the guys running the show.
