New York Jets Offense Comes To Life In Season Opener

The New York Jets first-team offense failed to rack up a single touchdown in the preseason but the team’s offense has come to life and is lifting the Jets to a blowout victory over the Buffalo Bills. It’s midway through the third quarter and the Jets offense already has an impressive 41 points.

Starting quarterback Mark Sanchez is playing one of the best games of his career. Sanchez has gone 17-for-24 for 228 yards, three touchdowns and an interception. Rookie Stephen Hill was on the receiving end of two of the touchdown passes while Jeremy Kerley was on the receiving end of the third.

Not to be lost in the Jets impressive offensive output is the fact that the defense has been playing well, too.

The Jets have to be one of the surprises of week one after seeing how putrid they were in week one. It is a welcomed surprise to the Jets fans.

As for the Jets secret weapon Tim Tebow, he has seven yards on three carries.
