Oakland Raiders ‘Very Hopeful’ Denarius Moore Will Be Available In Week 2

The Oakland Raiders fell to their AFC West rivals the San Diego Chargers in the second game of Monday Night’s double-header. In the loss, the Raiders offense was without one of their biggest weapons — wide receiver Denarius Moore. Moore was reportedly very close to playing in the game but he was eventually placed on the inactives list.

Raiders head coach Dennis Allen expressed that the Raiders are very hopeful Moore will return in week two.

The Oakland offense desperately needs a player to stretch the field and they lacked that presence on Monday night with the absence of Moore and speedster Jacoby Ford. Ford recently underwent foot surgery and will be out for a few weeks so the team needs Moore to come back to the lineup.
