Indianapolis Colts wide receiver Austin Collie has finally been cleared for contact and could play in his first regular season game in 2012 this Sunday. Collie suffered his third concussion since November of 2010 earlier in the preseason and he has not practiced since the latest diagnosis.
Colts head coach Chuck Pagano announced today that Collie was cleared by the team doctors.
Collie was listed as inactive for the Colts season opening loss to the Chicago Bears but he could find himself on the field for their week 2 matchup against Adrian Peterson and the Minnesota Vikings.
