Pittsburgh Steelers linebacker James Harrison has yet to step foot on the field after suffering a setback with his surgically repaired left knee. The Steelers are still evaluating Harrison and are not giving up hope that he could take the field for the team’s AFC showdown against the New York Jets this Sunday.
“We will work him up to activity and see how his knee responds,” Steelers head coach Tomlin said.
Harrison has slowly shown progress throughout the offseason. He worked out with the team this past Monday and was evaluated by the team during a running session on Wednesday. Whenever Harrison returns to the team, the Steelers will receive a big spark on the defensive side of the ball.
