The New York Giants put together a twenty-five point effort in the fourth quarter at MetLife Stadium against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers to complete the comeback and take down the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, 41-34. Tampa Bay held a 27-16 lead entering the final quarter before falling apart and allowing the defending Super Bowl champs to capture the win.

An incredible performance by the wide receiver duo of Victor Cruz and Hakeem Nicks proved to be the difference. Eli Manning tossed a career-high 510 yards and most of the over half of his yards came courtesy of Cruz and Nicks.

Cruz hauled in 11 passes for 179 yards and a score. The highlight for Cruz came midway through the fourth quarter when he caught a pass from Manning and scampered 80 yards for the score. Nicks caught 10 passes of his own for 199 yards and a score.

It was a big win for the Giants who could not afford to start the season 0-2. Next week, New York faces Cam Newton and the Carolina Panthers.
