Seattle Seahawks Topple Dallas Cowboys 27-7

The Dallas Cowboys were coming off of a huge emotional victory in week one but the team suffered a major letdown against the Seattle Seahawks in week two. The Seahawks defeated the Cowboys, 27-7, behind an impressive performance by Marshawn Lynch who was in full on “Beast Mode.”

Lynch carried the ball 26 times for 122 yards and a score.

Seahawks rookie quarterback Russell Wilson was also an effective game manager in the game. He completed all but five passes for 151 yards and a touchdown. Wilson added an additional 28 yards on the ground.

It was a devastating loss for the Cowboys team that had appeared to turn a corner with their week one victory over the Giants. The team struggled to get anything going and found themselves in an early hole after the Seahawks scored on a blocked punt in the first quarter.

Seattle successfully rebounded from a season opening loss to the Arizona Cardinals and will look to continue their winning ways against the Green Bay Packers next season. For Dallas, they’ll look to get back on the winning track against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in week three.
