Peyton Manning excited Denver Broncos fans with his week one performance but he is off to a dreadful start against the Atlanta Falcons on Monday Night Football. It’s the only game all season that Manning will play in a dome so his struggles are even more alarming.
In the first three minutes, Manning tossed two interceptions. He was picked off by each of the Falcons safeties – strong safety William Moore and free safety Thomas Decoud.
The Falcons have been able to capitalize on the early Broncos turnovers thanks to a one-yard touchdown run by Michael Turner and a 37-yard field goal by Matt Bryant. The Falcons lead the Broncos 10-0.
UPDATE: Manning was picked off a third time by Falcons cornerback Robert McClain.
