Miami Dolphins running back Reggie Bush had a huge game this past Sunday and has been rewarded for his performance by being honored as the AFC Offensive Player of the Week. Bush edged out Buffalo Bills running back CJ Spiller for the weekly award with his impressive week two performance.
Bush rushed the ball 26 times and racked up 172 yards and two touchdowns. Bush added an additional 25 yards receiving to bring his all-around total to 197 yards. The numbers are the highest rushing yards total and total yards from scrimmage for a single player in a week so far in 2012.
Colts receiver Donnie Avery, Bengals quarterback Andy Dalton, Browns running back Trent Richardson, Steelers quarterback Ben Roethlisberger , Chargers tight end Dante Rosario , Texans running back Ben Tate and Browns quarterback Brandon Weeden were also nominated for the award.
