The Chicago Bears and Dallas Cowboys take the NFL’s center stage tonight for Monday Night Football in week four’s final game. While the teams are preparing for their NFC showdown, there is one player who’s status for the game remains in question. Running back Matt Forte is a game-time decision for tonight’s game.

Chicago will determine whether or not Forte will take the field after he tests his injured ankle during pre-game warm-ups.

“It’s a game-time decision for Matt. He’s made a lot of progress,” Smith said Monday on WBBM-AM 780, via ESPNChicago.com. “We’ll get over to the stadium, see how he does then and decide.”

If Forte is unable to go on Monday night, backup running back Michael Bush will get the start and carry the load. Even if Forte is able to go, expect Bush to play a significant role in the Bears offense in primetime.
