Houston Texans Lead New York Jets At Halftime

The New York Jets were driving after an impressive drive by quarterback Mark Sanchez but a brutal interception deep in the redzone gave the ball back to the Houston Texans just before halftime and they were able to extend their lead to 17-7 right before the half.

Texans running back Arian Foster has been on a tear through the first thirty minutes racking up 100 yards and a touchdown on just 9 carries. Foster added a catch for 16 yards.

The Jets have tried everything in the first half. They have run a fake punt with Tim Tebow, played cornerback Antonio Cromartie at wide receiver and even let Tebow attempt a pass. Despite their best efforts, the Jets have come up short.

All of the momentum appears to be in the Texans court and they have the look of a team who will come out of the tunnel to start the third quarter on fire. This game could get ugly fast.
