The Houston Texans worst nightmare has been confirmed. After a MRI on Tuesday afternoon, it has been confirmed that Texans stud linebacker Brian Cushing suffered a torn ACL during Monday Night Football after a cheap shot by New York Jets offensive lineman Matt Slauson.

There was absolutely no reason for Slauson to dive at and target Cushing’s knee with his helmet. The only result of that type of play is injury and, unfortunately, Cushing and the Texans have learned the hard way. Losing Cushing for the season is a devastating blow to the Texans defense as Houston looks like a Super Bowl contender.
