Detroit Lions running back Jahvid Best began the season on the physically unable to perform list and has been working on getting in game shape so that he can take the field and help improve the Lions rushing attack. With Best being eligible to be activated from the PUP list after week six, the Lions are hopeful that he will be able to return in week seven.
If you listen to Lions head coach Jim Schwartz, Best is in great shape and very close to his return.
If Best is cleared and able to return to the field in week seven, he will bring an added dimension to the Lions offense. Best brings a level of speed that the Detroit offense currently lacks and he will be helpful to the team on third downs. Whenever it is time for Best to officially return, he will be welcomed by the team with open arms.
