Gangnam Style Invades NFL Sunday

South Korean rapper Psy scored an international and viral hit with his K-Pop song “Gangnam Style” which has been viewed over 520 million times on YouTube. The music video for the song features an absolutely ridiculous dance that invaded the NFL during week seven.

During the Carolina Panthers and Dallas Cowboys game, running back Mike Tolbert bulldozed his way into the endzone before unleashing the dance.

If that wasn’t enough for one day, New York Giants defensive lineman Jason Pierre-Paul went Gangnam Style after sacking Redskins rookie Robert Griffin III in their back and forth game.

While we appreciate the tip of the hat to pop culture and ridiculous little YouTube videos, let’s hope that this is the last Sunday where the Korean music charts influence the NFL celebrations.
