The Jacksonville Jaguars are already without their star running back Maurice Jones-Drew who suffered a foot injury in the team’s loss to the Oakland Raiders and the news just keeps getting worse. On top of the injury to Jones-Drew, former first-round pick and starting quarterback Blaine Gabbert has suffered a torn labrum in his non-throwing shoulder.
Gabbert underwent a MRI earlier in the week and the results were not good. He will visit the famed specialist Dr. James Andrews for a second opinion on Tuesday to determine his status moving forward.
The former Missouri signal-caller was playing well before the injury and the Jaguars clearly missed his presence. When veteran Chad Henne came in as relief, the Jaguars completely fell apart.
