Jake Locker Has Fracture In Non-Throwing Shoulder

It was announced by the Tennessee Titans that veteran signal-caller Matt Hasselbeck would start under center for the team in week 9 but Titans head coach Mike Munchak also revealed a bit of news that is devastating for Jake Locker. Locker has missed the past few weeks and will likely not return to the team until after their bye week in week 11.

Locker has yet to be cleared for contact and a fracture in his non-throwing shoulder is to blame.

It is puzzling news, considering Munchak stated just a week ago that there was no structural damage to Locker’s shoulder. Unfortunately for the youngster out of Washington, his development takes a serious hit. Hopefully this won’t be a major setback for his career.
