The Kansas City Chiefs were given some extra time to discuss potential trades when the East Coast was attacked by Superstorm Sandy early this week.
While the trade deadline was moved back from Tuesday to Thursday at 4:00 pm Eastern Time. It looks like the Chiefs will not take advantage of the additional time. They were believed to be discussing trade options for star wide receiver Dwayne Bowe but it now appears unlikely that Bowe will be moved before the deadline.
This season, Bowe has 37 receptions for 492 yards and three scores. Many believe that he could be in his last year with the Chiefs organization.
