The Minnesota Vikings struggling passing game is about to get a lot worse. Judd Zulgad of 1500 ESPN Twin Cities is reporting that Vikings star wide receiver — and their biggest offensive weapon not named Adrian Peterson — Percy Harvin was sporting crutches on Monday afternoon.
Harvin has been diagnosed with a sprained ankle in three different locations. It is considered a serious injury that will likely hold Harvin out of the Vikings upcoming Monday Night Football game in week ten against the Detroit Lions.
Following next weeks game, the Vikings will enter their bye week. It could be some welcomed time off for Harvin and his injured ankle as he works towards a full recovery and attempts to get back on the field.
