Bills Fred Jackson Out For Week 11

The Buffalo Bills have announced that due to a concussion sustained in the team’s loss to the New England Patriots in week 10, veteran running back Fred Jackson will miss this week’s Thursday Night Football encounter with the Miami Dolphins.

The news comes as no surprise given the short week. This season we have regularly seen players ruled out early for Thursday night games due to the short turnaround and concussions in particular are almost impossible to come back from in so short a time given the significant amount of testing required to clear a player to take part in a game.
