Kansas City Chiefs quarterback Brady Quinn has been medically cleared to play following his concussion a few weeks ago. Chiefs head coach Romeo Crennel had said Quinn would return to the starting role when he was healthy but Crennel passed up an opportunity to name Quinn the starter at the team’s Tuesday press conference.
Matt Cassel was the team’s starting quarterback the past two weeks and cost the team a chance at victory with a crucial interception in overtime. It was just the latest turnover Cassel has produced this season.
It will be interesting to see whether or not Crennel will keep his word and name Quinn the team’s starter for their week 11 match up. At this rate, maybe it will be time to see what the Chiefs have in Ricky Stanzi.
