Denver Broncos: Willis McGahee To Undergo MRI On Right Knee Monday

Denver Broncos running back Willis McGahee is no stranger to knee injuries and the veteran rusher has suffered his latest on Sunday early in the second quarter. Per the Denver Post:

McGahee suffered a knee injury after he gained 8 yards with 13:33 remaining in the second quarter, a run that immediately preceded Peyton Manning’s 13-ayrd touchdown pass to Demaryius Thomas. McGahee did not return and will have an MRI on Monday to determine the full extent of the injury.

“It swelled up on him,” said Broncos coach John Fox. “We’ll know more (Monday).”

In McGahee’s absence, back up running backs Ronnie Hillman and Lance Ball split carries and ran for a combined 78 yards.
