Pittsburgh Steelers running back Isaac Redman has left the Sunday Night Football match up against the Baltimore Ravens with a concussion. He will not be able to return to the game.
Redman began the game as part of the Steelers running back by committee, but h was forced to leave the game early in the second-quarter.
Redman had one carry for five yards.
With Rashard Mendenhall, who got the start Sunday night, and Jonathan Dwyer in the backfield, the Steelers will allow Redman to take the time he needs while he recovers from the concussion.
There will be no need to rush him back onto the field next week.
