As the Pittsburgh Steelers continue to search for depth after their quarterbacks have been hit with shoulder and rib injuries, they will turn to the former signal-caller of an in-state rival.
The Steelers will work out former Philadelphia Eagles quarterback Mike Kafka.
Kafka was one of the surprising cuts this offseason after being let go in favor of rookie Nick Foles, who is currently starting in Philadelphia. Kafka is an athletic quarterback that has shown promise.
If the Steelers decide to sign Kafka, it wouldn’t be surprising to see them hang on to him as a developmental quarterback for the future.
