Free Agent Wide Receiver Jabar Gaffney Suspended Two Games By NFL

Free agent wide receiver Jabar Gaffney, who was recently released from the Miami Dolphins after a six week stint with the team, has been suspended two games by the NFL for violating an undisclosed league policy. Ben Volin of the Palm Beach Post passed along the news via Twitter.

It was two days ago that the Dolphins decided to release the veteran wide out and the following suspension gives us an idea of why the team was so quick to pull the trigger on the release, despite having little talent at the position.

Gaffney has had recent stints with the Dolphins, New England Patriots and Washington Redskins over the past two seasons.
