NFL Told Hold Moment Of Silence For Sandy Hook Elementary School Shooting Victims

On Friday, December 14th, the nation was struck by an unspeakable tragedy when a 20-year-old gunman unloaded his weapons on a kindergarten classroom at Sandy Hook Elementary School. The mass shooting left at around 20 people dead and took away the innocence of many more children.

It was one of the most horrifying events in our nation’s history and has left us all treasuring the moments we have with our loved ones.

The National Football League, along with the rest of the nation, is mourning the tragedy in Newton, Connecticut. As a result, the league will hold a moment of silence for the victims of the shooting and their friends and families that have all been affected by these unspeakable acts.

NFL Spin Zone would like to extend our thoughts and prayers to all of those that lost a loved one and to the poor children that had to witness the tragic events. It’s moments like this that make writing about sports seem so unimportant.
