Chicago Bears left tackle, J’Marcus Webb hasn’t always been the most loved player by the fans in the windy city, and now they have something else to shout at him about.
According to reports, Webb was arrested on Sunday evening after police found marijuana in his vehicle, following a stop for speeding. Police officials have said they found 2.5 grams of the illegal drug and that Webb was arrested for possession of marijuana and other drug paraphernalia, as well as facing a charge for speeding.
Webb has been released on bail, and is set to attend court March 18.
The Bears organization has responded, saying they were
“currently gathering information to learn more about the circumstances surrounding the arrest.”
Many think that the Bears would be looking to draft an offensive lineman in this year’s draft, and perhaps this has given them more reason to do so. Stay tuned to Spin Zone for more.
