2013 NFL Draft: Arizona Cardinals Select Jonathan Cooper

With the #7 pick in the NFL Draft, the Arizona Cardinals have selected Jonathan Cooper out of North Carolina.

An excellent pick up by the Arizona Cardinals will definitely get good pass protection and run blocking. A very strong offensive guard, powerful punch, pretty excited to see how this guy works out in Arizona.

They brought in Carson Palmer and Rashard Mendenhall, so these two veterans should get along great with Cooper after he shows them what he can do come game time. He was an anchor for the North Carolina Tarheels running game, having the best rushing game in the NCAA last season. He also played some time at center, which will be great for this team in case something were to happen.

St. Louis Rams are now on the clock.
